- Yes. The full organization, search, and prompt library is free, and no account is required.
- Does my conversation data leave my device?
- No. Conversations are stored and searched locally in your browser. There is no account and no telemetry of any kind, so nothing is uploaded. In normal use Skeinos makes no network requests at all — the one exception downloads a corrected selector file when a chat site changes its layout, and it sends nothing about you.
- Is Skeinos open source?
- Yes, under the GPL-3.0 licence. A privacy promise you can't inspect is just a promise, so the code is public: you can read exactly what it does, check every permission it asks for, and build it yourself.
